Prof. Neil Miller is professor of ophthalmology, neurology, and neurosurgery, and the Frank B. Walsh Professor of Neuro-Ophthalmology at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.

President of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society from 2000 to 2002 and Chairman of its Executive Board from 2002 to 2004, he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) in 2009.

Prof. Miller has authored or co-authored over 540 articles, 93 chapters, and 13 books, and has given 59 named lectures around the world. He currently is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology. Many of his previous Fellows and Residents hold faculty positions at major institutions throughout the United States and around the world.
