Dr. Rajesh Fogla is Director of the Cornea Clinic and Senior Consultant of the Eye Department at Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad, India, and Visiting Consultant at Lanka Hospitals in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Al Bahar Hospitals in Kuwait.

Specializing in cornea and external diseases as well as cataract and refractive surgery with interest in lamellar corneal surgery, refractive surgery, ocular surface reconstruction, and infections, he has taught at various national and international meetings, fellowship programs, and training courses. He has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and has been a reviewer for Cornea, Ophthalmology, and the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, among others. He has received awards from various specialty organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Intraocular and Refractive Society of India.

A Past President and Founding Member of the Cornea Society of India, he has designed several surgical instruments to simplify corneal surgery.
