Dr. Roberts is clinical associate professor of ophthalmology, University of Sydney and medical director, Vision Eye Institute, Sydney, Australia. He specializes in cataract surgery and glaucoma. His research interests include new generation formulas for calculating IOL power, the application of femtosecond lasers in cataract surgery, presbyopia-correcting IOLs, digital imaging systems and toric lenses in astigmatism management, complex ocular trauma repair, MIGS, fixed-combination and slow-release glaucoma therapies, medical ethics, and education. He has published over 55 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and editorials, and continues to present his research locally and internationally. He is Cataract Section Editor for Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology and has served on the editorial board for the American Academy of Ophthalmology Lens and Cataract textbook and Asia-Pacific Journal of Ophthalmology.
